Databricks-Mosaic AI: Building GenAI Solutions with Databricks
I know, I know — you might be wondering why the background image says ‘Mosaic ML’ but the title calls it ‘Mosaic AI’ You’re not alone if this feels a bit confusing at first! I had the same question when I started looking into it. Let’s clear it up together!
When I dug into the background, I found that Databricks integrated MosaicML’s technology after acquiring the company in June 2023, adding powerful model training tools to the Databricks Lakehouse. In essence, Databricks’ “Mosaic AI” offers a complete suite for AI and ML — from predictive models to GenAI applications — with tools for deployment, evaluation, and governance.
